We are pleased to announce that the Oil & Gas Division of Barcelonesa has signed, on March 16th 2022, a Partnership Agreement with Maraba Al Iraq Al Khadraa Company, to consolidate our presence in the Middle East market.
Barcelonesa and Maraba are based in Barcelona (Spain) and Basra (Iraq) respectively.
The Agreement has counted with the involvement and support of Asteen Company For General Trade Ltd, that is Barcelonesa’s Agent in Iraq.
Thanks to this alliance with Maraba, the Oil&Gas Division of Barcelonesa will be able to develop in Basra the chemical specialties and provide the on-site support required for the processing of crude oil in South Iraq, one of the most relevant and fast-growing areas in the Middle East.
The local presence of Maraba personnel and its state-of-the-art facilities will also allow Barcelonesa to provide a very agile, efficient and high-quality service that will be tailor-made to the specific needs of our clients in the region.
This alliance represents a commitment by Barcelonesa and a step forward reinforcing our presence in the Middle East and therefore we will be able to provide our know-how and solutions more closely to the Oil&Gas sector in South Iraq, alongside with Maraba.
Likewise, Oil&Gas clients will benefit from the expansion of Maraba’s portfolio of services, by adding cutting-edge treatment chemicals for oil production.
